The name Dub "Paw Paw" Herring is also synonymous with charitable contributions and community
involvement. A few of his accomplishments include "1993 Picayune Citizen of the Year", "1999 Time
Magazine/Goodyear Mississippi Dealer of the Year", Mississippi statewide coordinator of the Lay Renewal ministry and Co-Founder and Director of Day-Star Ministries, a facility specializing in the care and education of abused women. He is also the Founder of Jacob's Well Women's Ministry, a rehab center for women addicted to drugs and alcohol and has been an active Gideon speaker for over 35 years.
